Jan Vermant is the 2021 Bingham Medalist of The Society of Rheology

Jan Vermant receives the award for advancing the science of interfacial rheology through the development of new measurement techniques and methods of analysis and for bringing new understanding to the rheology of dispersions through microstructural interpretation of rheological data. His development of superposition rheometry has created a new approach to studying microstructure during nonlinear flows.
