Research area

I am working as postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Lucio Isa's team on the use of microfluidic bacterial spore deposition to study active nematic systems. The project aims to control the initial spore spatial configuration to shape predictable bacteria growth patterns.
Main research fields: Biophysics, Microbiology, Synthetic biology, Biochemistry, Microfluidics.
