SMW Soccer Cup 2025

Dear D-MATL members,

This summer isn’t just about the UEFA European Women’s Championship—there’s another major soccer event you won’t want to miss: the annual SMW Soccer Cup! While all the tickets on Ticketcorner may be sold out, you have an exclusive opportunity to be part of the action by joining the tournament as a player.

The SMW Soccer Cup will take place on Friday, May 9, from 14:30 to approximately 17:30 at Hönggerberg Sports Field (Sportzentrum Hönggerberg, Kappenbühlstrasse 72, 8049 Zurich). Expect an afternoon filled with competitive but fun matches, good company, and a great atmosphere. To keep energy levels high, we’ll organise snacks, soft drinks, and – of course – for the more serious competitors, some isotonic muscle relaxants straight from Appenzell. 🍻

I invite you to register your team (or sign up individually) via this external page link. To participate, teams should have at least six members, but if you’re looking for teammates, don’t worry – register solo, and we’ll do our best to match you with others who are also looking for a team.
